The wine was superb and amazingly, my feet stopped hurting after three days of walking. We ended with a wine tasting in St Paul we couldn’t have asked for a better conclusion. I was also obsessed with the history of the Jewish Quarter and the appropriate focus on the appalling Vichy actions during World War II. Our favorite was the Moroccan food and mint tea served at the Marché des Enfants Rouges but the dessert spots were super impressive, too. The architecture and back street walking routes gave us such a good immersion into the neighborhood, and it was made even better when some of the proprietors would stop to chat. And the portions were generous I love to eat and by the fourth place I was starting to wonder if I’d be able to finish. Not only did each stop have an interesting historical note, but the food was simply amazing. This surpassed our expectations and we are most happy to give the tour, and David especially, five stars.ĭuring my massive amounts of researching prior to our trip, I’d built up in my mind that the third arrondissement was going to be amazing, but I never would have experienced it the way I’d hoped without this tour. This was our 17th wedding anniversary and we are still in the middle of raising kids, so this was an expensive activity for us and the highlight of our trip to Paris. ![]() ![]() My husband and I did the Paris Food and Wine Tasting Walking Tour in Le Marais on Saturday, April 1. ![]()
